Krista Hernandez has over 15 years of experience litigating complex cases throughout the country.  Prior to joining the firm, Krista was an associate in the Los Angeles office of Gibson Dunn & Crutcher, practicing in its general litigation and environmental litigation and mass torts groups.

Krista’s practice focuses on complex business litigation, complex torts, appellate law and regulatory law.  She has worked on all aspects of case and trial preparations, including complex discovery and motion practice, depositions, and selection and preparation of experts.  Krista’s strength has been in clearly and effectively communicating complex factual, technical and scientific issues to obtain successful case resolution for her clients.

In addition to her litigation practice, Krista has experience in representing clients before California regulatory agencies with regard to enforcement and permitting issues, including the South Coast Air Quality Management District, the Department of Toxic Substances Control and the California Regional Water Quality Control Board.

She also assists clients in the transactional setting, by performing due diligence and risk evaluation for real estate and corporate transactions, focusing in particular on environmental issues.

Krista graduated from the University of Chicago Law School with honors.  She received a B.A., cum laude, from Wellesley College.  Ms. Hernandez is a member of the California Bar, the Bar of the Central District of California and serves on the executive committee for the Los Angeles County Bar Environmental Section.
