Although different from our typical holiday giving approach, this year we said "Thank You” to our military and veterans, by granting wishes on behalf of our clients. We did this through a wonderful organization called A Million Thanks that your company might want to learn more about and see our clients’ wishes we granted below.
US Army, 602nd Support Maintenance Company
The first wish was delivered to the US Army, 602nd Support Maintenance Company, Fort Hood, Texas, housing approximately 200 soldiers and their families.
The 602nd Company, like most of us, expected to spend the holidays with their families but was unexpectedly deployed, with no possibility of return before Christmas. Given this, retired Pfc. Megan Velez, whose husband, Sgt. Omar Velez is deployed with the 602nd , arranged a Christmas event for the families left behind. In anticipation of this event, ECG granted Pfc. Velez’s wish to provide a gift to each of the 200 children who will be spending the holiday separated from their parents.
Thank you for the trust you continue to place in the ECG team and for our on-going relationship. May the New Year be filled with good health, friendship, and continued success.
